Deskripsyon

Can a sign be added at the corner of Cleveland and Washington (westbound)informing drivers that they must pull up to the line to trigger the signal? Had the pleasure of sitting for 5 minutes today because the lady at the front of the line had a car length of emptiness between her and the line. Watched the other 3 directions get a green more than once.

This light is not triggered by traffic... The light is on a timed cycle only. This is due to the strange offset of the two intersecting streets. Instead of a cross street, it has to control each approach seperatelly with each getting its own exclusive green signal. You are waiting for each of the other three approaches to cycle through their own exclusive green. I am not sure if they have budgeted any upgrades to the control system that would allow a more efficient scheme.

Since they've redone that intersection (years ago) there is a trigger for all four of those lights at this intersection. They used to all be timed but not anymore.

This just happened to me today! I can't believe I came across this. Sorry, there is no way this is a timed cycle light. I felt guilty honking at 9 in the morning, but I couldn't sit there forever!

The sign and stop line on the road aren't lined up.
Right now the sign is a few feet before the line.
Pull up the sign and line it up with the line in the road.
I waited behind a woman that was texting for like 5 minutes.
