Sink hole in Amherst eats car! Headline for Amherst News Times... The hole gets paved twice a year every year for the last ten years and keeps coming back... perhaps filling it in with patch yet again isn't the answer... perhaps someone can figure out WHY it continually needs to be patched? It's not as if the patch is being torn out of the hole, it just continues to sink down into the hole! Is it being eroded by a natural stream or some other source of water below ground? This is a safety issue that needs fixed correctly!
