Descrizione
Left hand turn out of Granite Run Mall onto Baltimore Pike could be made safer with a green left turn signal. Currently, the signal is a general green which creates some confusion. Vehicles turning left sometimes need to stop suddenly in the middle of intersection to yield to oncoming traffic that is coming straight across from Riddle Hospital.

Well, unlike everyone else bashing the original comment. There should be a turn signal, whether you are a good or bad, safe or unsafe driver. That intersection is too large and has too much traffic to leave anything up to chance.
There's even a light at the next intersection located at the Rothman Center and McDonald's.

1. People waiting for long periods to turn left out of the mall into the right lane of Balt. Pike, this is hazardous as some others turn left from the middle lane.
2. People turning left out of the mall from the middle lane, this lane has a faded straight arrow but needs an overhead sign signalling straight only.
3. A green arrow light or at the very least, overhead lane signs are necessary. Drivers should see signs for each lane and a sign that says "stay in lane".
4. Drivers on Baltimore Pike turn into the mall to make a U-turn, there used to be a no U turn sign that was knocked down and there is a simple jug-handle that could be posted with a "U and Left turn" sign.
For any local state police cruiser, this is a sure spot to write tickets, between the u-turns and drivers changing lanes in the intersection, you would probably only have to wait for one change of the light and could write at least one and probably more per light.
