Deskripsyon
There is a pedestrian crossing near Lake Johnson that is thoroughly signed and marked on the roadway, but most vehicles don't even BEGIN to slow down even if a pedestrian is stepping in the roadway. Honestly I haven't taken the chance of getting all the way into the lane for, hopefully, obvious reasons.
Just a note...the only vehicle who actually stopped had Virginia plates. :)

Honestly, there are plenty of measures in place, including lines and 4 different bright yellow pedestrian crossing signs. Can't really miss it, but people use this as a cut through between Western Blvd and Tryon and just fly through here without paying attention.
Maybe an occasional cruiser presence around 5-7 PM on a pretty day when there are lots of pedestrians on the approach to Lake Johnson.
