There is water constantly seeping from the pavement in the northbound lane of Boulevard SE, just north of the entrance to the Stacks Lofts (170 Boulevard Ave, SE, 30312). This is likely caused by a broken pipe below the street. When the temperature goes below freezing, this makes an extremely dangerous ice hazard for cyclists on the right edge of the road. Please repair ASAP, before someone gets hurt! (plus, what a huge waste of water)

The freezing hazard is probably passed for the year, but there's still quite a lot of water being wasted with this leak. And the pavement is absolutely crumbling here as a result. Why is this not being addressed?

It's been two and a half months since I initially indicated this problem and it's STILL not addressed. There's a very sizeable amount of water being wasted and the pavement is deteriorating rapidly as a result of this.

Can someone explain why this problem is being ignored?

Repairs started last week. There's now a huge metal plate over the location. It's great to see this finally being addressed. Hopefully this is resolved quickly and the metal plate (which is a huge hazard in itself) is removed quickly! Thanks to whomever initiated this process!
