Is it safe now? 30 car this year alone.

Thier are 5-10 broken cars, trucks, jet skis campers on the street and empty lot next the dentist. Guy who works on these is 2 doors north of the dentist.

You been after this guy for 5 plus years. Why cant you fix it ? Cars are expired plates , broken down and many not on pavement.

2030 Stanton Airbnb 8:30 Easter morning there is a guy smoking marijuana on the back porch. This is every day! I can’t Even let my kids outside to play in their own yard! We need something done now!

There are 3 to 4 men who speed down 138th Street and neighboring streets at all hours of the day. I am talking speeds up to 45 mph on a residential street. There is absolutely no reason for this at all. You cannot miss these guys either. They drive older model “race” cars, super low to the ground, with decals on the front windshields that read “219 Wolf Pack”, one white car, two black cars. They are from somewhere on Henry & Johnson. I’ve seen them nearly hit other cars traveling down the street as they make their way west down 138th to Hohman. Can speed bumps be installed? Can there be a stronger police presence?? This is an active neighborhood. People walk often. There’s children on bikes and skateboards. People walk their dogs now that it’s nicer out. Is it going to take them hitting and killing someone for them to stop acting so reckless with their dumb cars??

New "family" recently moved in to rented house. Apparently, they are modern day gypsies. Since moving in, they've done nothing but cause trouble. Instances of domestic abuse, child abuse, noise issues between 11 pm - 3 am, and garbage littered all over the street. The police have been actively involved, but would like to ask that if you have any problems with this family, please report it to the police!

This crashed red car was reported 7 days ago in the same spot. Hasn't moved since. Doesn't look driveable. Garbage bags for window. Fender missing.
Curious why it hasn't been ticketed again since reported 7 days ago. They were give 2 96 hour stickers and a month last time. Here we go again.

What can we do to get this street bigger? I’m tired of my car and my visitors cars get their side mirrors damaged by passing cars or trucks because the street is too small. I just had a UPS truck flying down and struck my neighbors car mirror. People have large pick ups that even creates tight travel down the street. Now I have to ruin my grass because of this. Get this fixed!

Dog concern. I am a pastor and we do door to door visits. We came to this home at S 7818 Louise Ct, Hammond this morning around 11 am. In the foyer of this hole was a pit bull/boxer dog that was in a cage far too small for it. You could also see the dog was dry. There was no water or food in the cage. A young girl came to the door who said her parents were not home. After we exchanged our greeting, I told her that the dog needed water. But I left concerned. I just came back to the house 4 hours later. The dog is still in that small cage. It is very hot out. The same girl came to the door and said her parent was now home but asleep. I told her the dog needed water. She said she would get to it. I have waited outside the house for 10 minutes. Nothing is done as the dog's water bowl is still outside. I feel bad about this-- I don't want the people upset with me but I know this is not a good situation for the dog.

This was reported last year and the reply was Its a state road we will reach out to the state. Here we are 365 days later and no realts. The white lane markers are in very bad shape. It is not safe ; especially in bad weather. Why is Hammond not putting the safety of its citizens first?? Can we get something done!! 119th North to Indianapolis.
