My sentiments exactly. This is a prime example of the broken windows theory. Why did we spend all this money on these projects if it just going to end up like this. In addition to what was reported I have noticed graffiti all over the cutouts of the lake side of the Henry J Kaiser center. This area of town needs to be a something that we can be proud of, not an eyesore.

Please come and at least empty the public trash cans and clean up the garbage piling up. I'm surprised the construction trailers are right there in the middle of the mess and it's been trashed and getting worse for months now. We've got to keep Oakland clean so that the residents can understand that trashing our city is not an option anymore.
