The city needs to start doing something. They need to start making it a sanitary situation. Advocates talk , but no action. If the city is going to allow this, put up trash bins and toilets. Is that hard..
Craig once again let the tax payers pay to clean up for people who refuse to do it for themselves. Free tents, sleeping bags, food, clothing, SSDI, syringes pretty much every thing but drugs and alcohol which SSDI pays for. They need to clean up after themselves. More community service.
Yes David, it's disgusting that we as we as homeowners have to pay for this. The mayor and city has done nothing to help solve this problem. The homeless and their advocates should clean up the areas. Let's move them to Piedmont ave or oakland hills or temescal, bet you the city would be all over that.
