Thank you. I used the DOT report form. For Town Hall or anyone interested, they reply with the auto response quickly (stating someone will review and take any necessary action) but do not follow up. I normally have to re-report and check back in on reports multiple times over the course of several months to get even a severe road hazard repaired. Additionally, when reporting, be sure to save your report number as it is not e-mailed to you but you will need it if you want to check back in. Best to set a calendar reminder to check back and re-report monthly. Hope no one wrecks there before then.

Crystal, there's an issue that I've reported to the DOT for the last 3 years and I never got a reply. You're doing something right if you're getting one in just a few months!!

However, what I discovered a few weeks ago is that there is a phone number. If you call DOT customer service, they give you a phone number of potholes. Then that person gives you a phone number for Wake County. Then that person gives you a phone number for Wake County potholes. There may be a few more steps I left out, because I spent about 45 minutes on the phone calling one office after the next...

I finally got to 919-733-4768. Call that and someone will *apparently* submit your request to the actual repair team.
