Lately I've seen quite a few cars driving the wrong way down the western block of Lyon St. (toward Olive). This is obviously very dangerous, both for other drivers and for the many people who walk along this street with children or dogs. Apparently we need more signs indicating that this is a one-way street.

It's a problem on Lyon and also one block over at William and Olive. As a daily pedestrian at this location I have been nearly hit many times from drivers coming out the wrong way! I presume that they're trying to cut off the "long route" over to Grand Ave but that was a choice they made when they decided to live there. Please send enforcement if possible - I agree that for some reason in recent weeks it is picking up, perhaps as they see others getting away with it.

The same should be said for William St. There are often cars who are too lazy (or don't want to take the time) to drive all the way around to get back out to Olive and they'll drive the wrong way up William.

Thanks for the post. The Sign Division will inspect the street to determine if additional one - way signs need to be installed.
