We would need more specific information, of course both Crabtree Mall and the nearby McDonalds are private property and we would not dispatch city forces. Feel free to reopen this issue with specific information or open another. A photo would also assist in order to ascertain if this was just a short term event. Closing issue.
The issue, as you can see in the video, seems to be the litter across the street from McDonalds; of course it's all McDonald's litter. That's a dirty muddy corner always packed with work truck full of McDonald patrons and it seems like they just dump their trash in the bushes. Until this week, the greenway trail was littered with McD's garbage. I presume the tax payers paid to have that picked up.
While it may in fact be primarily litter from McDonald's, the city would not be able to cite the resturant for the litter - citizens should do the right thing and pick up after themselves. We'll send out a city crew to attend to the litter.
Going in 60 days and it still looks like a dump site. I guess the city has cut back the weeds and now the litter is just laying all over the place. It's all from large trucks full of construction workers that park there and walk over to McDonalds and then just toss their trash on the ground. I'm kind of thinking that if they're going to treat of roadsides like a ghetto we should maybe post some NO PARKING signs. McDonald's really ought to be ashamed.
