326-400 East Prince Street Saint Paul, Minnesota - DowntownI just found out about the plan to pull traffic off the 52 bridge directly down Prince Street to the dead-end at Broadway and Prince/4th, the most heavily pedenstrianized area of Lowertown. No meeting was posted to discuss this, so residents were never given an opportunity to point out what an AWFUL IDEA this is! Please CHANGE THIS PLAN so that traffic from 52 will land in a safer, less destructive place. There is no need to destroy one of the only two gardens in Lowertown, or create a high risk traffic situation for residents and visitors.

Graffiti Archived101-199 College Avenue West Saint Paul, MN 55102, USA - DowntownPlease patrol all the time. Our backyard off 35e turn-on should be monitored for drug deals daily. Dorothy day center checks are spent mostly here illegally in the spring and summer months. Now we have graffiti worse than ever most likely letting them know where to get what keeps them homeless. Please help.

Right of Way Obstruction and Signs Acknowledged365-395 North Wacouta Street Saint Paul, MN 55101, USA - DowntownExpired newsracks illegally placed too close to a parking meter, blocking access to the bike rack on the west side of Wacouta between 6th and 5th. Please do something about this.
-
332-362 Wall Street Saint Paul, Minnesota - DowntownAs events are increasing in size and frequency in Lowertown, we're getting a lot of people that are interested in biking downtown for a variety of reasons. But they're also getting frustrated by the lack of convenient bike parking. Please consider installing some larger-scale bike racks over the summer, or at least open up more of the parking meters to allow the hitch-style racks.

West of the stop sign Archived400 Summit Ave St Paul, MN 55102, USA - DowntownHorrible series of potholes west of the stop sign, especially deadly for cyclists--no way to avoid rolling through the craters without swerving into traffic.

noise from Mears Park "muzak" ArchivedMears Park/E 6th St St Paul, MN - DowntownMany of us from the neighborhood have called:
1) City Hall
2) Parks Dept
3) St Paul PD
4) Public works
about the extremely loud "muzak" that plays 24/7 from the speakers on the ampi-theater in Mears Park. No one seems to want to "own" this nuisance. The music is too loud and can be heard in the apartments with the windows closed. It is supposed to turn off at 9pm & never does. In times of budget woes, why doesn't someone just shut this off for good and save the city & taxpayers a lot of wasted money that is a big annoyance to the residents of the area. Who IS responsible for this??? -
