I am posting the issue again, because I am not getting any response on the original issue.

Sidewalk needs to be extended at busy curve in the road.

For people walking from main shore road, this area is extremely dangerous. The sidewalk begins at the middle of the curve in the road. If you happen to be on the wrong side of the road, and you want to get over to the sidewalk on the other side, you must cross at a very dangerous point.

This section of road is heavily used by both vehicles and pedestrians. It must be one of the most dangerous sections of road in the town/municipality. To add to the danger, there is a small hill just outside of the town limits creating a blind crest. The whole stretch is an accident waiting to happen.

Can someone from the town please comment on this? Is there a plan to have this fixed?

Crosswalk leads to a high curb. Curb needs to be cut and dipped for proper accessibility.

I was told by previous council that the town council meetings would be uploaded to the web. What's the status?

Lake Milo water level has been dropping for some days now.
I heard from a neighbour that the lake was being dropped to work on the dam. He heard it on CJLS. I do not listen to CJLS, so I had no idea.

I called the town yesterday about this, but they could not give me any information about the water levels and timelines for the repairs. They could only confirm that the lake was being dropped to do work on the dam.

I have looked on the town's website, including the "Project Status Map" page, but there is absolutely no information regarding this half million dollar project.

As this project affects so many people, it would be nice to see some detailed information.

How long will it be drained?
Will they be using a coffer dam so they can fill the lake back up again while they repair the dam? If so, when will the coffer dam be completed?
How low will will the water go?
What is the timeline for the project?
    ...

Oh, yeah, I almost forgot. They also told me they don't make rain, so they don't know when the lake will come back up. So, where does rain come from? Please enlighten me.

Firstly, I would like to commend whoever had the idea to put these fountains in Lake Milo. They are a great addition to the park!

I was canoeing past the water fountains in lake milo, and noticed that the lights were on during the day. It was a beautiful clear sunny day, and the lights were on. These lights should be on a sensor to conserve energy. Is it possible to add such a sensor?

It would be great to see a joint effort here with the municipality to extend the sidewalk from its current termination down main shore road at least to the intersection of lakeside road.

On several occasions I have tried to put my boat in Lake Milo at the public boat ramp, but have been unsuccessful due to someone parking in front of the ramp.

Please place a proper "No Parking" sign in front of the ramp.

    Thanks,
    Jamie

The town is undertaking a multi million dollar project to improve a section of pleasant street. Such information should be accessible to the public on the town's new website. A lot of tax dollars are being spent here, but no one is informed as to what is exactly happening.

I searched the website, but the only information on this project that i could find were the tender results, and a notice that there will be work being done in the area.

It would be nice if the town could put up a description of the work being done, some blueprints/plans of the project, and maybe an artists rendering of the completed project, if available.

It would be great to see a section on the website which shows upcoming, current, and future public works projects where the public could see the great things you are doing with their money.
