This is an abandoned, burnt-out camper full of trash. It is a horrible eye-sore. Others have complained here about this.

Someone was sleeping in a tent here but that has now been gone for weeks. However, garbage and debris was left.

I reported this some days ago, #1159536, and the area was partially cleaned but about half of the trash and garbage was left on site. Please come back and do a thorough job of cleaning this area and please continue to KEEP IT CLEAN. Thank you.

This spot is repeatedly trashed and littered with garbage. I cannot understand why the City leaves it to accumulate until it is both an eyesore and an obvious health hazard. This particular place is constantly being neglected. It is right next to a very traversed public sidewalk. There are numerous small homeless encampments around the lake but mostly they are not also trash and garbage dumps. This one is simply a trash and garbage dump. There is no one camping there now. They left with the heavy rain and left the site an utter mess. PLEASE CLEAN IT UP AND KEEP IT CLEANED UP. DON'T ALLOW THIS TO CONTINUE OVER AND OVER AND OVER.

This site is a perpetual dumping spot. The City cleaned it up about a month ago. Thank you! But it is back again. Please keep this area clean of trash and garbage. It is a terrible eye-sore for all of us who enjoy walking or jogging or simply enjoying the lake and surrounds. The Park Maintenance people empty trash containers around the lake daily but this is left to get worse and worse until someone complains. Why is it not routinely cleaned up?

This trash and garbage (and, at present, one tent that looks abandoned) borders both sides of the public sidewalk and path circling Lake Merritt and is about 200 feet from the Lake Chalet Restaurant and below the Cameron-Stanford House. It has been there for many months, perhaps even a year or more. It is a terrible eye-sore and ruins an otherwise beautiful public space where people walk, jog and socialize.
