  • Deer roadkill Kinilala
4717-4765 Vermack Rd Dunwoody, GA, 30338, USA - Dunwoody
There is a dead deer just on the other side of the wooden fence across the street from the Vermack Road pool. It was in the road last week (week of 1/22) and I observed a gentleman drag it from the road to the other side of the fence. It's going to decompose and stink for a while, and it's right above the creek, so probably a water quality concern. Can sanitation pick this up?
  • Sidewalk Problem Inilagay sa Artsibo
1898 Peeler Rd Dunwoody, GA, 30338, USA - Dunwoody
This mess of wires has been laid across the sidewalk for over a month, likely leftover from a telecom installation. Major tripping hazard for runners early morning
  • Pavement Problem Inilagay sa Artsibo
Chamblee Dunwoody Rd & Vermack Pl Dunwoody, GA, 30338, USA - Dunwoody
This water valve cover seems to have been forgotten after repaving of Chamblee Dunwoody Road. It's right in the travel lane and most cars hit this hole with rather sharp edges, losing hubcaps, and likely other damage.
  • Sign Problem Inilagay sa Artsibo
Chamblee Dunwoody Rd & Vermack Pl Dunwoody, GA, 30338, USA - Dunwoody
Chamblee Dunwoody Rd and Vermack Place sign needs to be reinstalled.
  • Lake Ridge Ln & N Shallowford Rd Atlanta, GA, 30338, USA - Dunwoody

The crosswalk lights at this intersection do not seem to cycle quick enough to ensure safe crossings. This is a very busy school bus stop and in the dark mornings, I've observed children crossing the street here after pressing the button to cycle the lights, waiting for a while, then crossing across moving traffic to get to the bus stop in time.

In addition to the above safety concern, I've observed the diagonal "scramble" crossing lights stay red through more than one traffic light cycle, after pressing the button to cross. Since the city went through the expense to install that scramble crossing, it's clear that there is awareness that there would be increased pedestrian traffic with the improvements at Pernoshal park and connection to Brooke Run, but the pedestrian crossing lights don't take priority over vehicular traffic. The lights at the Pernoshal and Peeler intersections cycle very frequently, so I don't believe that shortening the cycle time at this intersection would impede traffic at all.
