Deskripsyon

The City continues to staple Emergency No Parking signs (and street cleaning notices) to yong sapling trees on Eld Street. Would be great if the City could stop doing this. We should try to save as many trees as we can before UI kills, I mean, prunes, them.

I mean, there are sticks on either side of these trees just for the purpose of stapling things to them. This isn't rocket science.

Since UI is murdering all of the trees, in the state (look at what those monsters did on I91), maybe we should just go with plastic plants, or pave the entire city...

Thanks, Doug. I appreciate you looking into this for us (as an aside, URI came the next day and repeated their procedure of stapling signs to trees. It's their procedure, not a one-time thing).

This issue remains open. UI continues to staple notices to our trees.

Please do look into this. It's not as if it should be so hard or expensive to find an alternative. It may just take a tiny bit of thought and consideration on the part of whomever is putting the signs up.
