A BWL worker contacted me and said once the snow thaws they will be able to assess the problem better.

I was contacted on Jan. 15, 2014 and told that as soon as the snow melted this issue would be addressed, however water continues to sit at the edge of our driveway and today is May 3, 2014. Thank you in advance for looking into this matter and resolving it.

This has been sent to our Repair Department to follow up on.

Water crew and customer met about the end of driveway holding water, it is dry now and only holds water after a rain. She is to contact the City regarding this issue.

I was told this by the City of Lansing.

It looks like your street, along with the gutter pan, was overlayed with asphalt several years ago. Your driveway received an asphalt wedge at that time to prevent water from standing and over time, the wedge has chipped out. I have attached a photo and you can see the chipped out wedge. I have put in a request that there be another wedge placed. The City crews do these as time and budget permits, so I don’t know when it will be done. So I guess this issue is not related to the water line, and may not be repaired for a long time.
