I agree with Jeanette. Leave the guy alone he is not hurting anything. And to Anonymous if you are so concerned about what he is doing why don't you try to get him the help he needs. I have helped several people who down on their luck at that intersection over the years.

Theres no law against standing on a corner, or asking for money, theres nothing that will make him disappear. On one side, I would ask you to look at why bothers you so much. When you answer that you might have a little more insight into yourself. On the other hand, he could be a player, not all that unable to get a job. Or just found a way to get money that doesn't require much work. As far as anybody helping him, safety has to be kept in mind. Homeless doesn't mean criminal, but you have to stay aware. A lot of local churches do outreach and might be able to help him.

we had a guy back in the 70's who was begging outside a bank in downtown seattle for a long time. finally a reporter started looking a little harder at the guy. Turned out he was making over 50k a year, had a nice car, house, was wild. Do I believe that is the cae here, no. But have seen one of the people who was begging shopping with what I thought was probably his wife at hannaford and things didn't look too rough. Just don't know. There is the guy that is uptown, been here for years, never bothers anyone, just sits and reads and sleeps behind buildings.

This is the problem with the world today. Rather than somehow help this person who obviously needs it, you run to hide behind your computer screen and report it online that you feel he should not be in a public place. How does this man's homelessness affect you? It is a shame this topic is even being discussed on a site like this.

Someone I knew found themselves homelss a while back. Through that what I found was that places to stay for at least men in and around kingston who are homeless are very limited. There is the shelter on Thomas street, and its not that big. And there is a house over by Port Ewen and it does not hold a lot. For women, I could not say, I don't know. But space is limited. Some of the churches may provide room, but what I saw was not very many beds.

what has our society come to that we no longer offer to help our fellow man rather we ask for him to be removed or told to go away, why? is he bothering you? did he harass you? did he offend you? why what did he do that caused this to become a issue for ClickFix. It's sad to see that mankind is no longer kind at all.

I find this to be totally ridiculous of people to ask you seek how to fix this issue, because he is homeless? Unbelieveable.... I cannot believe this is what the world has come to. Heartless!
