Cable wires that belong to COMCAST were installed over 1 yr. ago as "temporary". This violates DC code & Federal Statute 34-1901.01(overhead wires crossing overhead on Marion St.,NW are prohibited). Numerous complaints since Jan.2010 to Mayors Office, ANC 2 Commissioner,North Capitol Planning Commission, and Office of DC Cable with no results. COMCAST has admitted the lack of follow-up on the temporary fix & seems to be dragging their feet on completion of this work. The last info. given to me from Office of DC Cable(by "Mabel") was that an application for installing the cable underground was submitted by COMCAST to DDOT. This was 3 months ago. How long is COMCAST allowed to violate DC & Fed. Law with their "temporary-fix"? Residents on Marion St. have waited long enough!
