Deskripsyon

There are 2 lanes as you get to the corner of Chapel and Olive going towards Wooster Street park. The lane on the left should be a left turning lane only and the right hand lane should be a right hand turning lane and for traffic going straight ahead. Cars in the left lane are constantly cutting off the cars in the right hand lane and actually in the left hand turning lane of the oncoming traffic

I drive through that intersection several times a week and have never had that problem

Drivers simply need to look up from their cell phones/radios/etc and look at the road signs. There is clearly a sign indicating that the right lane is the straight lane and the left lane merges into the right. Therefore, those in the left lane need to merge (with blinkers) to the right when proceeding straight.

If you are coming from the opposite direction, there isn't the same signage or lane markings as on the other side of the light. I'm referring to coming from downtown and heading towards Fair Haven and you will see what I mean

Doesn't the yellow sign seen here indicate the merge?

I understand the concern at this intersection- however, it would appear that the bigger problem would be people learning how to drive appropriately and courteously.
