We understand your frustration, but do you need to report every vehicle? You're filling up every follower's inbox! You can see they're already parked on the snow bank. Where else do you want them to park? Please stop until the snow bank has melted and then I'm all for you doing the reporting.
Thanks for trolling folks, but Jake expects the buke lane to be clear just as others expect the car lane to be open, the sidewalls free of ice, and the traffic lights to change. It's exactly what this app is designed for. Disparaging one person for pointing out issues that need fixing is feckless and rude.
I frequent this route with my kids and am always disappointed in how often I have to take the lane to get through here. If we don’t allow cars to park in the middle of the car lanes, why are we ok with them parking in the bike lanes? If the bike lanes remain clear, it not only provides safe passage for my children, but it keeps the bikes out of the car lanes and keeps me from having to resort to driving a car instead... thus creating one more vehicular obstacle on the road. Feels like it’s really not that big a deal to assume private vehicle storage on public property should be held to the same lawful standard as everything else, right?
We appreciate getting your reports. As of June 16, 2019, we will no longer monitor the Saint Paul Connect app (SeeClickFix). To submit any concerns going forward, please use our Report An Incident form: https://www.stpaul.gov/report-incident Thank you, and we look forward to hearing from you.
