Crosswalk needs a yellow "Yield for Pedestrians - NJ State Law" sign in the center of the road. E.g., like the one by the Valley Rd Post Office in Upper Montclair.

Traffic typically is driving too fast or doesn't care about people waiting at the crosswalk. It's another accident waiting to happen.
