Why is nothing being done to help the good citizens of Fair Haven... there are still good people that reside here, help us take this off our streets. I watched parents have to walk their children to summer school, they have to walk by this. It is unfair to our children to have to see this. Now that schools starting this is what they see while they are waiting for their buses or walking to school. Come on Mayor please do something to help us. Get rid of these prostitutes that are roaming our streets morning, noon and night. Move these meth clinics. Drive through and see what we are up against😢

The hardworking police of this city hands are tied , because the Mayor, and the police chief is listening to these out-of town advocates, who state “arresting these offenders is not the answer, only rehabilitation”, but open prostitution is going on behind Fairhaven school infront of our school. Think about this why aren’t these issues in North Haven, East Haven? It’s because it’s not TOLERATED!!!!

To get something done it would be better to call the police district mamngaer and alderperson. Posting on this site will probably not get the attention of the people who can help.

This issue was opened over a year ago, 8/30/18. I suggest you call your alder and the district police officer and set up a meeting with the people in your ward to make your grievances known. This has sat here for over a year and no response. If you want action you must take action.

Becky, You have to make people listen. If you got several dozen of the people in your ward out for a meeting with your alder and the police, they would have to listen and do something. If after a meeting like this, nothing is done go to the media. this is an election year. If you vote these people out of office and get people that care about your neighborhood. Just posting here and thinking something will magically get done is not realistic.
