Is it really necessary for construction workers to yell profanities, especially when children are passing through? It's right down the street from the Peabody and we should be able to drive through here without that! Other parents walk around here with their children in strollers. Are supervisors or the police able to do something about it?

What job site is this? Do you know the name of the construction company? There are many different projects going on "down the street from the Peabody." Please be as specific as possible. Thanks.

I am one of the many local people who walks through here often with children and a stroller, and can easily hear the activity when in my yard. The construction workers have always been accommodating when I've wanted to pass through and hardly ever shout. I guess the original poster drove through at a bad time and heard an outburst owing to some unexpected problem. In all the months I've been hearing the construction noise, I can't say the workers have been a problem. For that reason I'm closing this ticket for now.

I've seen a couple of these workers on this street throw acorns at passing cars as they sat on a break of some sort. One Police Officer told them it's okay, i guess he would run to their boss in a proud helpful fashion, maybe for OT duties..
Maybe hot but a bit immature.
