I always cringe when making a left turn when turning to northbound 147 and another car is making the same turn from the other direction. There is no yield sign and it is not clear who has the right of way. I think that the LEFT turn vehicle actually has the right of way, but even if this is right, I don't know if the OTHER driver knows that. No accidents yet, but I think it's just a matter of time. One of these turns needs a YIELD sign.

The person on the right, coming from the North has the right of way in this case. In addition, I think a yield sign has been placed facing those turning from the South on Main and turning left onto 147 at some point in the last several months.

I'll take a look for this new yield sign. I drive there every day, and don't think I've seen it. I also think those turning left would have the right of way, because if we're yielding it has the potential to back up traffic turning left, thereby blocking both lanes including those traveling southbound who are NOT making the turn. One of these days I'm going to get hit at this intersection, either from the side or behind. But I hope not!
