I don't think it's a matter of dump coupons as this has been going on for years. They also have had bulk trash in their back yard for years. They just fling trash over the fence into the tree line, as do their neighbors. I never understood why people want to live in trash and look at it everyday. I guess they don't understand that trash, especially bulk does not decompose for years and years.
Last week the dog woke me up early in the morning, probably because it was cold and he was stuck out there. I haven't seen the dog this week. In the summer they leave him tied up back there for hours. I work two jobs so I try to sneak in some sleep which is almost an impossibility since my bedroom is right across from where the dog is tied up.

No but I have been tempted many times. Especially in the summer when I get woken up all hours of the morning, noon, and night. Lately I haven't seem or heard the dog except that one day they left him out.

If its the blue house I know the family and they are nice people, they just need a knock on the door from LCI / animal control. The strange thing is with the Heights is that people all around Quarry park think the woods behind their property is for dumping, I could show you a half dozen others that do it.

Yes, it is the blue house. They very well may be nice people, However, they should not be dumping garbage, car batteries, hub caps etc. do they think this stuff just dissapears? No it doesn't until I go through the woods and do it, otherwise I have to look at it. Also, people have to understand that their neighbors need sleep. The dog faces my bedroom and that's all I hear during the summer. The lack of common courtesy drives me nuts. I'm certainly no angel and I believe in live and let live, but there comes a time when you can't deal with it anymore. This has been going on for years. I don't even complain about late loud parties of their neighbors as long as it's only once in awhile.

The end of Revere is a strange place, in fact both ends are.

I have been hearing the dog bark as well and I'm about ten houses away. Some weekends it barks 20 hours a day, probably just to keep warm.

I haven't heard the dog in weeks so maybe he's been inside. I guess he was out that one cold for some reason. However, I bet he will be out there everyday in the spring waking people up, or keeping people up.

The issue still has not been resolved. I called the mayor's office, they forwarded me to the police department, I wrote my alder woman an email etc. and nothing has been done. Apparently no one in New Haven cares if it's a dump. I have to move out of this city.

I feel bad for "Guest", as he/she is right that no one cares in New Haven until it's something that affects them. Unfortunately if you want a response you need to constantly call and complain until you become a nuisance like your inconsiderate neighbors are to you. The city gives little back to the taxpayers, while the non-taxpayers get all the attention. Keep trying, I wish I could do more for you.

Have you tried calling LCI and asking to talk to a supervisor or going to talk to the mayor. He meets people the first Tuesday of the month.

I left another message for LCI yesterday and am waiting for a call back. The question is why is New Haven so incompetent? Do I really need to waste a night going to see the mayor?this is the simplest of tasks.I'm trying to be a good citizen and help the town out. They get paid to do this, I don't.

What trash? Yes I have seen the junk behind the blue house ,but that is in their yard. I would like to see some pictures of the trash you say is being dumped. And if the blue house has junk in their back yard why would they throw trash over the fence?

I live on Lexington and have a clear view of the wooded land and have not seen trash. Is it really much trash and as a community why haven't the people in the neighborhood gone to knock on the door if there's that much trash.

well lets see... possibly the people of New Haven have become benumbed to trash? Just a guess.
