Deskripsyon

The timing of the light at Egypt Rd coming from Station Ave is only 7 seconds long. Given the amount of traffic on Station Ave now that the bridge, Expo Ctr, Lowes ,BJ's and Target are open, this is entirely too short. If there is opposing traffic, or someone in front of you tries to make a left turn, you might have to wait through several cycles just to get across the intersection. I work here and have seen people just blow right through the light if no-one is coming. The alternative is to cut through the residential area along Brower Ave. I wonder how those folks would feel about this?

Unfortunately this is not the only location that has poorly timed lights. The various townships need to take a look at all of the lights around town. I doubt the traffic lights have been changed since I was born!

While the light is quick, there shouldn't be allowed cars to drive straight through the intersection as it goes through a residential neighborhood not designed for through traffic. You should turn left on Egypt road.

And it's come down to cutting through the residential section along Brower Ave. The light timing at Brower and Egypt is so much quicker. Just OBEY the speed limit and no one should complain.

That residential neighborhood is STILL a public road. We all pay taxes to keep it open and maintained so we should all be allowed to use it. I do agree that speeding ought to be more closely monitored there. As for the left turn; it just isn't feasible. If you wait to make a left turn while opposing traffic goes straight, you wait some more.The right turn lane should also include traffic that is going straight; like it does almost everywhere else.
