Deskripsyon

Glasgow St between Berks St and High St. have been a horrible mess for years. I cannot believe this road has been allowed to remain like this for so long. I got a flat tire the other day from this road. Thanks!!

That is in horrible shape. That's what happens when half the road is in one townshp and the other half the other. I used to drive my pickup on Glasgow Street until I broke a leaf spring from all the bumps THREE YEARS AGO!!!

With people using the smaller adjacent roads to avoid that section of Glasgow ST. Were all just adding more wear and tear to the whole area. The townships avoidance of fixing Glasgow is going to end up costing the city 5 times more when they have to fix all the roads in the area. That's just unacceptable for the amount of money that's paid in taxes . The residents are just going to have to start asking themselves is it time for some new leadership. The kind of leadership that is responsible enough to stop the "leak" before the "flood " ruins everything .

This road is horrible.....I know I live there. Besides being a wreck with bad patches & large potholes ruining your vehicle, it's also a "racetrack" for a lot of drivers who are in a hurry and fly down that street all day since it's a straight shot with no stop signs. If you're unfortunate to live closer to High Street, then you're really in trouble with people having time to reach VERY EXCESSIVE speeds! In 20 years I've only seen one car stopped for speeding and only once (maybe twice) anyone out there fixing the street. :-(

Please speeders, have respect for the people that live there.....and borough officials, PLEASE fix the road and put some cops on the street here! You could probably pay down the city's deficit quickly with all the speeding tickets. Just a thought. :o) And YES, we have complained multiple times to the city (Pottstown) with NO response.

This is still a huge problem; the potholes ended up "bubbling" 2 tires and I had to replace them. I should bill half to pottstown and the other half to pottsgrove.

I agree, this portion of Glasgow St. is horrible to drive on. Glasgow Street is entirely Pottstowns responsibility. It's not shared by Pottstown and West Pottsgrove ( Stowe ).

This is still a huge issue for many residents. The pot holes, the uneven road etc. I still cannot believe after this long nothing has been done.
