Deskripsyon

At the top of the 580 flyover, in the northbound direction, the concrete pavement of the flyover sits higher by at least a couple of inches than the asphalt road leading up to the seam. This is a danger to bicyclists - I have seen them move as far to the right as possible where the height difference is not as great - but cars and buses (which I ride on) get a heckuva jolt passing over the seam unless they slow down to a crawl.

I see COPWD is on the case but maybe Cal Trans should be roped in too regarding the flyover and its condition?

We have noticed this living just on the other side - it's bad for both bikes and vehicles giving vehicle traffic quite a bump with some bottoming out, and often a hubcap flying off (which could hit a pedestrian or another car before landing on the side) - will try to find the address for CalTrans as I believe they are involved in this roadway.

Yes this is a big problem. Some cars go into the opposite direction lane to avoid this jarring place. This is dangerous to other drivers.
