using drugs openly in front of this house with young kids around. I don't know why the cops don't want to do anything about it. this house is horrible for the neighborhood.

You can find out who owns the house by taking the address to the City Assessor office. That is the most help anyone can offer here. it is not the police, it is the city assessor office and your ward leader and the owner of the joint. Go to the assessor with like minded neighbors, for then you will represent a number of votes and because a group is much more powerful than one person. that is how it works.

the building is owned by the family that owns Peoples auto... Frankowski is the last name... may be co-owned by father and son

I've heard that the frankowskis are slum lords and get away shady dealings all over ulster county. good luck trying to get anything done about this property, they seem to know the right people to be above the law.

Is this still a concern? I know the process for cleaning up problem landlords is a long and slow one - but don't assume anyone is above the law. It does take a while to implement change. Can someone provide an update?
