Deskripsyon
The Edgerton Park Mushroom Cellar has been dug out and broken into and people are drinking and drugging in there, lighting fires and vandalizing the area--(e.g. see graffiti pictures).
The structure has not been maintained and is hazardous--(e.g. see rusty spikes picture) so please re-cinderblock the door and back fill before someone gets hurt and or more damage is done.

Other than the fact that the roof may cave in on you under all the weight of that hillside of earth and trees, there is only one exit and you never know who might show up one night...NHPD, angry homeless people, bloodthirsty rivals...some psycho(s)...

I posted this Edgerton Park issue as a New Haven issue but somehow it ended up listed in Hamden.
As with East Rock Park, I know the town-line runs through the middle of this park but both are under the care of New Haven Parks Dept and NHPD.
Not sure how to fix this--how to move the issue back to NH so the right watchers are notified...
Also noticed that my last posted picture appears about 30x larger than the others in the gallery at the beginning of the post but only shows up in the actual comment as a red 'X' then the photo name...
