The issue has been assigned to a staff engineer with Public Works.
Initial investigation has this portion of Tumblin Creek located on private property. Also, there does not appear to be a drainage easement over this section of property. At this time, this would need to be resolved by the private property owner. Staff will investigate further to determine if there is any additional information that would require action from the City and we will notify you of status and updates regarding this matter. Andrew Roberts, PW Stormwater Engineer walked the creek along the west side of St. Croix Apartments. All of this is private property. The City does not have any easement over this area. The stabilization would be the property owner’s responsibility. If needed, we can request that the owner have this assessed by a professional engineer and provide improvements as needed.
