The metal roadblock poles meant to keep cars from driving through here have been sawed off, so cars are able to illegally drive through the intersection.

The sidewalk too needs a barrier; I once saw a pickup truck avoiding the roadblock by driving on the sidewalk

This week saw a blue FJ Cruiser using the sidewalk to bypass road closure. I don't think this happens at other closed streets-- is there something special about 59th & Shattuck?

Just saw a white Kia Soul bypass the road closure by driving on the sidewalk. Please install bollard on sidewalk to prevent this.

A higher barrier is needed in the road, and a barrier on the sidewalk.
