There is only one crosswalk across busy Alcatraz between Telegraph and College and it is on Colby. We need an additional crosswalk or crosswalks. Hillegass is the half way point. Alcatraz is heavily jaywalked due to the lack of crosswalks and this is very dangerous due to heavy traffic and high speeds. Many elderly people and families with young children live in this neighborhood and are forced to jaywalk.
