behind the overgrown shrubs on the left unit. Duplex is in foreclosure - however tenants do reside on the right unit.
Drug deals are being conducted, many times within an hour - every hour - at all hours from both the from secluded porch or the basement area. Drug dealer/mule is getting so bold it is like an open air market from 10a.m. to 0100- 0200. Getting out of hand. Owner/bank needs to clear the lot of debris and overgrowth to help/ assist in deterring the drug activity

Sunday afternoon we witnessed while driving by people openly transacting drug deals - baggies being traded for cash.
Hustler and others are so bold as to shout their 'wares' up and down the street. Everyone who resides on this block is either a party to the drug activity as a user or they turn a blind eye.
We have children that play on in our front yards and witness this illegal activity.
Cannot call as the few of us that do not partake in this activity are being watched.

Just asking that the premise be cleared out to deter some of the activity. Basement door and windows need to be secured.

This is an issue that has been reported to several agencies, yet nothing ever gets done. We feel like officials just don't care. This residence is now a place to hang out as they all know it is if foreclosure. This past weekend was particularly bad - From inside my house I could hear foul language, yelling costs for services, cars stopping and purchasing whatever. If the city is not going to enforce it's own regulations of property maintenance, then the far more important issue of safety and lawfullness will never be upheld.

Thank you for your concern, however, the Code Enforcement Inspector has no jurisdiction in this matter. The issue with drug deals must be addressed to the Police.

However, the inspector can site the property owners for the unkempt condition of the exterior brush/bushes, debris littered in the rear of the property and overgrown grass.

As the Neighborhood Watch Captain I took the initiative and trimmed the shrub located by the front porch and mowed the front lawn. We have many children who take this route to the bus stop each weekday so urgency was in order.
Rear of property still needs addressed.
