There was no selection for lawn damage from a plow, so I picked the closest I could find.

The snow plow this year, on 2 occasions, ripped up a strip of our lawn at 13 Lake Dr., Darien, CT. In all prior years, the plows stayed 1 foot back from the property line, which was much appreciated.

I am requesting that the town repair my lawn damage as soon as possible (soil, seed, cover), as it appears that we are experiencing spring already and the grass is growing.

The Department of Public Works (DPW) is only responsible for the repair of mailboxes and posts if the mailbox has been damaged by a Town vehicle or from the Town snowplow leaving the road and making contact with the mailbox or post, causing damage. The Town is not responsible for mailboxes damaged by flying snow and/or ice from plows while performing road clearing activities. The Town is not responsible for damage to mailboxes and posts that are rotted, rusted, or improperly constructed. Upon request, the DPW will review the damage and perform repairs, if warranted. If you would like to file a complaint, please provide the address and date damage occurred.
