Who is the genius who decided to make 3 lanes out of two- trying to change lanes is a nightmare and there isn't room for three lanes anyway. It's crazy enough with two lanes. PLEASE FIX! Have had a few near misses near Central/Harlow St light.

It's actually Central and Hammond streets. With enough practice, you'll get the hang of making a lane change. You have to be aware of the surrounding traffic and time your move just right.

It is Harlow St between State/Main and Central Street and I do it several times a week. There is not room for three lanes, and it's dicey at times with just two lanes. Poor planning!!! Now read this three times before you respond please. :)

OK, let's try again. Am referring to Harlow St, particularly before the left turn on to Central Street. There is only room for two lanes as approach lights, and the third lane was added only in past year. This has created a dangerous squeeze during busy times of day, when kamikaze drivers are present, and with inexperienced drivers. Please fix when repaint lines, as don't know how you can fix beforehand.

..yeah...let's just pack more and more traffic in...how about 4 lane streets Bangor City Council? that out to make this a nice, quiet and safe city!!!
