Drivers, presumably parents at drop off and pick up times, speed well in excess of the posted 15 mph. There are children and families trying to walk to Glen Acres ES on this street

This has been an issue for over 20 years. They do not stop at any of the three stop signs at the intersection of Glen and Delancey. The intersection at Glen and Delancey is often used for u turns making it very dangerous for cars as well as pedestrians; those pedestrians being children walking to school and those in the neighborhood walking. Repeated complaints to the West Goshen police over the years has yielded nothing.

I have contacted West Goshen police a few times, with mixed results. Mostly given answers like although it's posted 15mph, it's really 25, or speed bumps wouldn't be appropriate. On two occasions a speed board (which shows drivers their mph) was brought out, but it was only there for one day each time. And it's actually the school buses that are sometimes driving the fastest.

Area should be considered school zone as there is a school. Drivers should be forced to drive 15 mph as in all school zones. Considering there aren't sidewalks makes this walk alot more dangerous than it should be. I would like all those parents speeding through the neighborhood to put there kids on the street and let them walk it while others speed by them Wondering how they'd like it.
Am very dismayed that WGT has done NOTHING about this for YEARS and still seem unwilling to do anything.
