My car was towed on an even-numbered side of the street, and from what is not a snow emergency route from the City map! http://www.cityofnewhaven.com/trafficparking/pdfs/Snow%20Emergency%202013.pdf

This is pretty ridiculous. I phoned non-emergency number and they don't even know where it is.

I am impressed by the efforts of the city to clear our little corner of the world on Lenox and Clifton. The corner is usually poorly plowed but this time, the driver took extra care to clean it off. He even came back a third time to clear the road on the right side of Lenox. Thank you for a job well-done.

Thanks, I finally got it (just from a different tow company they gave me the number for first time). Traffic & Parking were helpful, the non-emergency dispatchers and office of emergency management were not - they lied to me about what the Mayor stated yesterday and said we had all been told no parking anywhere on street, not no parking on odd-numbered sides of non-snow-emergency routes. Which is what I thought and is actually what was stated.

The odd-numbered side of the street was left alone! So looks like a miscommunication somewhere along with haphazard implementation of towing.

Thank you Sean for your patience. I believe we had a human error here. Please contest your ticket and tow, and through the proper process, this is usually given a refund (as it deserves if we make an error).
