Deskripsyon

There is a deep pothole in the right eastbound lane of West End at the Blakemore intersection that's capable of causing a flat if hit at normal speed. It's been there for over a year.

This is actually not a pothole but an opening for a water main or some other underground feature, but it is indeed too deep and is a hazard.

A Public Works inspector will visit this location to confirm whether it is a pothole or utility problem.

West End is a state route, and pothole issues would be repaired by TDOT. If a utility issue, Public Works will refer to the appropriate agency responsible.

This rough pavement still exists and seems to get worse and worse. The pavement is actually on 31st/Blakemore and not West End and therefore may not be a TDOT issue.
