The back-up to this light from CA-13 is very long around 8:15-8:30 - sometimes taking 4+ green light cycles to get through the light While the 5+ wait is frustrating, my bigger concern is that the backup reaches so far that cars approaching from CA-13 are still near full speed when they get to the backup.-

This is being caused because traffic from Highway 24 gets the green light on demand. It causes a backup. If that light was only triggered as part of a normal cycle it would reduce the problem.

This is happening at the traffic light at Hiller Drive and Tunnel Road. The problem occurs with traffic coming from Tunnel Road heading westward.
