There is only a yield sign here, but rear end accidents everyday coming from green street to route 9 south by the mall. its a 3 lane highway in that area and green merges directly into that right lane. make 9south 2 lanes in that area, and have the people merge into their own lane!!! less accidents!

I agree, make an ACCELERATION lane so that people can merge and STRESS a "NO MERGE" signage. Even though it is only effective for 50% of the morons on the road. Even though there are no merge sings up do you know how many people still stop??

I do not understand how the state spent all that money re-working that very area of Route 9 and then left that dangerous merge from Green St. What idiot was assigned to research this part of the roadwork. I want this fixed !!

Yes, this area is dangerous, but every accident that has ever happened at this location could have been avoided if the operator of the vehicle entering Route 9 exhibited more patience.
If you're a local you should already be aware that you can safely enter Route 9 from behind the Woodbridge Township Ambulance & Rescue Squad building on Queen St.
