When driving East on Capitol Avenue, at the intersection of Hudson, cars always organically settle int two lanes at the light. It is not clear which lane is the lane that continues straight on Capitol and which is the turning lane, despite the left arrow traffic light, mostly because there are no lanes painted there at all. I suggest making the left lane a left-turn-only lane and the right lane for straight/right turns. It would eliminate the aggressive "no, me first" that happens once Capitol narrows a few feet later.
