Deskripsyon

Pedestrians crossing to and from Wooster Square down Court St. need the protection of a crosswalk. This is a very active crossing for cyclists, dog walkers, people walking to and from downtown and people with small children. Because, frankly, drivers (including a couple of school bus drivers) sometime speed like hell while cutting through to Chapel.

We should definitely have a crosswalk on Academy and Court. There is no reason why anyone needs to speed on Academy EVER. I too have seen school buses speed across Greene and down Academy while walking my fog in the morning (around 7 am).

Nice idea, but drivers rarely acknowledge the one at Court and Olive.

So where are we with this crosswalk -- or speed humps? Maybe these would be better. And another speed hump on Court Street, where people zip through sometimes even the wrong way.
